## Launch process and weekly rules
Sign in, review your product details, save your product, install its eligible Oribisoft website badge, and manually verify it. Launching requires valid verification, server-side eligibility, and an available slot. Founder approval is not required in the current self-service flow. A website URL change invalidates verification. Verification is not a security audit or endorsement; recurring automatic badge checks are not provided.
Each edition has at most 12 occupied slots. Weeks begin Monday at 00:00 UTC and end the following Monday at 00:00 UTC, exclusively. Eligible makers can join this week immediately for the remaining competition time or schedule an available future Monday. Saving a draft does not reserve a slot. One launch per product; updates do not create a new entry.
Weekly standings use valid weekly votes descending, then earlier publication time, then the stable product identifier. Current standings are provisional. After the window closes, finalization preserves weekly ranks and earned first-, second-, and third-place recognition. Recognition cannot be purchased. Later lifetime vote additions and removals do not change finalized results. Signed-in visitors may maintain at most one active vote per product launch.
## Free and Premium
Browsing, account creation, eligible product submissions, and voting are currently free. Public listings, public maker profiles, category discovery, weekly competitions, earned winner recognition, and continuing lifetime voting are live. Private maker analytics are available where enabled for the owner and are not part of the public catalog. Premium Launch is Coming Soon: it is planned and is not available to purchase. No active checkout, paid ranking boost, or guaranteed promotion is offered. The Pricing page, FAQ, and Terms describe current free participation and planned Premium Launch.

Published answers about free participation, launch eligibility, voting, verification, maker profiles, discovery, and support.
## General
### What is Oribisoft?
Oribisoft is a launch and discovery platform for independent software. Makers share products, visitors find useful tools, and the community supports launches through voting.
[About Oribisoft](https://www.oribisoft.com/about)
### Who is Oribisoft for?
Independent makers, solo founders, small software teams, and people looking for useful tools. You can explore without building a product of your own.
### Is Oribisoft free?
Browsing, creating an account, submitting eligible products, and voting are currently free. Premium Launch is planned for a later phase and is not available to purchase. There is no paid placement or guaranteed promotion in the current launch flow.
### What types of products can I discover?
Software across AI tools, AI agents, developer tools, productivity, open source, marketing, and indie SaaS. Listings should describe real, useful products.
[Browse categories](https://www.oribisoft.com/categories)
### Do I need an account to browse products?
No. Public product pages, maker profiles, categories, and weekly archives are available without signing in. You need an account to vote or manage a product.
### How is Oribisoft different from other product launch platforms?
Oribisoft combines weekly competitions with ongoing product discovery. Weekly results are preserved, while public product pages, maker profiles, categories, and lifetime voting keep working after launch week.
## Launching products
### How do I launch a product on Oribisoft?
Sign in, enter your website, and review any auto-filled suggestions or add the details manually. Save your product, choose Save & Get Badge to enable its limited public prelaunch page, install the supplied Oribisoft badge on your website, and use the manual verification action. Then choose an eligible week and submit to launch. Publication depends on verification, eligibility, and an available weekly slot.
[Submit a product](https://www.oribisoft.com/submit)
### Can anyone submit a product?
Anyone with an account can submit software they own or are authorized to represent. Provide accurate details, use assets you have permission to share, and follow the community guidelines.
[Read the guidelines](https://www.oribisoft.com/guidelines)
### Is founder approval required?
No. The current self-service launch flow uses badge verification and server-side eligibility checks instead of founder approval. The founder can still suspend harmful or rule-breaking listings.
### Can I save a product as a draft?
Yes. Save your details privately and return through My products. Saving a draft does not reserve a launch slot or publish your listing. Choosing Save & Get Badge enables a limited public prelaunch page with your product name, tagline, and expected launch week. It does not publish your full listing or reserve a slot, and the page is marked noindex.
### Can I schedule a launch for a future week?
Yes. Choose an available future Monday from the launch options. A successfully scheduled product publishes when that weekly edition begins, subject to ongoing eligibility.
### Can I launch during the current week?
Yes, when a slot is available and your product passes verification and eligibility checks. It publishes immediately and competes only for the time remaining before the next Monday at 00:00 UTC. There is no time weighting or extension.
### How many products can launch each week?
Each weekly edition has 12 occupied launch slots. A slot is reserved only when your launch submission succeeds; saving a draft or selecting a week alone does not reserve one.
### Can I edit my product after submission?
Use My products to edit the fields and actions available for your product’s current status. Some changes are restricted after scheduling or publication. A website URL change invalidates its previous verification and requires a new check before launch eligibility is restored. Edits do not grant a second launch.
[Manage your products](https://www.oribisoft.com/dashboard/products)
### Can I launch the same product more than once?
No. The current system allows one launch per product. Updating a product does not create a new competition entry, and duplicate listings must not be used to bypass this rule.
### What happens if all weekly slots are filled?
Keep your draft and choose another available edition. Capacity is checked when you submit, so a week can fill between viewing its availability and completing your launch.
## Weekly competitions
### How do weekly launches work?
Up to 12 products take part in each edition. Scheduled products publish at its start; eligible current-week submissions join immediately. Valid votes during the fixed competition window determine weekly standings.
### When does a weekly competition start and end?
Each edition starts Monday at 00:00 UTC and ends at the next Monday at 00:00 UTC. The end is exclusive: votes at or after that deadline do not count toward the previous week.
### How are weekly rankings calculated?
Products are ranked by valid weekly vote count, highest first. Ties are resolved by earlier publication time, then a stable product identifier. There is no paid ranking boost or adjustment for joining later in the week.
### What happens when the week ends?
The weekly voting window closes and finalization records the results. The product page stays available subject to platform policies, and lifetime voting continues. A delayed finalization does not extend the weekly voting window.
### How are the top-three products selected?
The first, second, and third positions in the finalized weekly ranking receive the corresponding winner recognition. Awards depend on actual finalized results; no award is guaranteed by submitting a product.
### Can people continue voting after the competition ends?
Yes. Signed-in visitors can add or remove their lifetime vote on published products. Those later changes affect lifetime totals, not the finalized weekly result. Each account can have at most one active vote per product launch.
### Can historical rankings change?
Finalized weekly counts, ranks, and awards are preserved independently of lifetime votes. Later vote additions or removals do not rewrite them. Moderation can affect whether a listing is visible, without turning later lifetime votes into weekly competition votes.
## Website badge verification
### Why do I need to add an Oribisoft badge?
A valid website-bound Oribisoft badge is required for launch eligibility. It connects your product website to its Oribisoft listing. Verification checks the badge; it is not a security audit or endorsement of your software.
### How do I verify my website?
Save your product, copy its eligible badge embed, publish it on the submitted website URL, and click Verify in your product’s badge controls. Verification is manual; there is no automatic recurring badge crawl. Use the status and retry guidance shown in your workspace.
### Where should I place the badge?
Place the supplied embed visibly on the page at your submitted website URL, often in its footer. Keep the linked badge image and its Oribisoft product link intact in the returned HTML. A badge added only by client-side JavaScript or hidden inside an iframe will not pass the HTML check.
### What happens if verification fails?
A missing badge and a technical verification error are different outcomes. Check the exact submitted URL, the supplied embed, and whether the page can be fetched publicly, then retry when allowed. A temporary fetch error is not proof that a badge was removed. Launching remains subject to a successful valid verification; there is no exemption.
### What happens if I change my website URL?
Verification is tied to the submitted website URL. Changing it invalidates the earlier verification. Install the correct badge at the new URL and verify again; scheduling or launch actions remain subject to the current eligibility rules.
### Do winner badges work differently?
First-, second-, and third-place badges become available only when your product has earned the matching finalized weekly award. They do not bypass website verification. Before a first launch, use the eligible featured badge supplied by your workspace.
## Accounts and maker profiles
### How do I create a maker profile?
Create an account, then complete your display name, public username, and optional maker details in Settings. Google sign-in may ask you to choose a public username during account setup.
[Open Settings](https://www.oribisoft.com/settings)
### Can people view my public maker profile?
Yes. Your public maker page shows your display name, username, optional bio and links, and public products. It does not display your account email, private drafts, or moderation feedback. Search indexing is separately subject to public profile and published-product eligibility.
### Where can I find my public profile link?
Open Settings and use View public profile near the page heading. If a public profile is not available yet, use the setup action to complete your username instead of following a broken link.
[Find your profile in Settings](https://www.oribisoft.com/settings)
### Can I update my maker information?
Yes. Settings lets you update the available profile fields, including display name, username, bio, avatar, website, and supported social links. Previous usernames redirect to your current profile and cannot be claimed by another account.
### How can I manage my products?
Your maker dashboard and My products show your own listings and their current status. Available actions depend on whether a product is a draft, scheduled, published, or suspended.
[Open My products](https://www.oribisoft.com/dashboard/products)
### What analytics can makers see?
Where enabled, private maker analytics report views, website-button clicks, approximate daily visitors, broad referral sources, and vote performance for their own products. They do not expose individual visitor identities or guarantee customer conversions. Disabled collection, privacy preferences, and filtered requests can affect counts.
[How product analytics work](https://www.oribisoft.com/privacy)
## Search and discovery
### Will my product stay listed after launch week?
Yes. Published product pages remain discoverable after their competition and continue accepting lifetime votes, subject to platform rules, owner actions, and moderation.
### Can Google discover my product page?
Eligible published pages have public URLs and search metadata, and can appear in the sitemap. Search engines decide whether and when to crawl, index, and rank them. Private drafts, future launches, and optional noindex prelaunch pages are not indexable published listings.
### Can AI search engines discover Oribisoft listings?
Public, eligible product pages can be accessed by discovery systems under the site’s crawl rules. Each system decides what to retrieve, use, or cite. Inclusion in an AI answer is not guaranteed.
### Does Oribisoft guarantee backlinks or SEO rankings?
No. A listing provides a public product presence and a website link, subject to eligibility and platform policies. Oribisoft does not guarantee backlink value, indexing, rankings, visitors, customers, revenue, or AI mentions.
### How do visitors find products by category?
Browse the category directory or use the product directory’s category filters. Each category leads to relevant public products.
[Explore all categories](https://www.oribisoft.com/categories)
## Moderation and support
### Can Oribisoft suspend a product?
Yes. The founder can suspend harmful, misleading, or rule-breaking products. A successful badge check does not prevent moderation.
[Community guidelines](https://www.oribisoft.com/guidelines)
### What products are not allowed?
Spam, fake or misleading products, unauthorized duplicates, impersonation, stolen content, malware, malicious links, fraudulent products, and illegal content are not allowed. Vote manipulation and harassment also violate the community rules.
[Read the full guidelines](https://www.oribisoft.com/guidelines)
### How do I report a problem?
Use the founder contact linked on our Contact page. Include the product URL, a clear description, and relevant public evidence. Do not send passwords, session tokens, or other people’s private information.

# Community guidelines
Canonical: https://www.oribisoft.com/guidelines
Retrieved: 2026-11-04T11:04:36.015Z
Bring useful software, tell the real story, and treat the people around you with care.
Effective date: 2026-11-01. The canonical HTML policy is authoritative.
## Make it useful
Submit a working software product with a clear purpose. Tools for developers, makers, small teams, and curious people belong here. General services, unrelated goods, and thin promotional pages do not.
## Tell the real story
Use an accurate name, direct product URL, and honest description. Explain who your product helps and how. Share original work and assets you have permission to use. Avoid exaggerated claims, fake testimonials, misleading screenshots, and impersonation.
## One product, one launch
Check for an existing listing before submitting. Duplicate or misleading listings are not allowed. Each product gets one launch in the current system; an update does not automatically qualify it for another competition.
## Keep weekly launches fair
Each edition has 12 slots and runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC. Rankings must reflect genuine votes. Do not buy, sell, exchange, automate, or otherwise manipulate votes, create fake accounts, or coordinate deceptive voting. Lifetime votes after the deadline do not change finalized weekly results.
## Verify your website
Save your product, install its eligible Oribisoft badge at the submitted website URL, and verify it manually before launching. Keep the required badge valid and its link intact. Changing your website URL invalidates the previous verification and requires a fresh check. There are no badge exemptions or automatic recurring badge checks.
## Promote responsibly
Share your product with people who may find it useful. Do not spam other communities, misrepresent an Oribisoft listing as an endorsement, or pressure people to vote. Be clear about your relationship to the product.
## Respect other makers
Keep feedback constructive and reports factual. Harassment, threats, hateful abuse, exposing private information, stolen content, and impersonation do not belong here. Respect intellectual property and other people’s work.
## Keep people safe
No fake or fraudulent products, malicious links, malware, phishing, illegal content, or software promoted for unlawful harm. Do not use listings to collect credentials deceptively or send visitors somewhere unrelated to the described product.
## Moderation
Oribisoft may hide, suspend, or remove products that violate these guidelines and may restrict abusive participation. Badge verification and publication do not exempt a listing from moderation. Availability and rankings are subject to the platform rules.
## Report a problem
Use the Contact page to reach the founder about suspicious products, stolen work, broken links, or platform issues. Include the relevant public URL and a clear explanation. Do not include passwords, session tokens, or private personal information.

# Privacy Policy
Canonical: https://www.oribisoft.com/privacy
Retrieved: 2026-11-04T11:04:36.015Z
What Oribisoft collects, what becomes public, and how to ask a question about your data.
Effective date: 2026-11-01. The canonical HTML policy is authoritative.
## Who operates Oribisoft
Oribisoft is an independent software discovery project built by Muhammad Rehan. This policy describes information handled through the Oribisoft website. Contact the founder through the channel on our Contact page for privacy questions or requests.
## Information you provide
When you create or update an account, we handle your account email, authentication information, display name, username, and any optional bio, avatar, website, or social links you supply. Product submissions include the product name, website URL, tagline, description, category, images, pricing label if supplied, features, intended audiences, open-source information, repository and social links, and launch details. Messages you send to the founder may contain the details you choose to provide. Please do not submit confidential information.
## Authentication and account information
Supabase Auth handles email/password authentication, supported Google sign-in, and sessions. Google sign-in can provide basic account information used to initialize your profile. We use account information to identify you, maintain your session, protect access, and connect you to your products and votes. Your account email is not a public maker-profile field.
## Public profiles and listings
Your maker username, display name, optional bio, avatar, website, and social links can appear on your public maker page. Published products, supplied media, maker attribution, website links, vote totals, and weekly results are public. Public information may be accessed, indexed, cached, or copied by third parties. Private draft details and review feedback are restricted to the owner and authorized moderators. Choosing Save & Get Badge enables a limited public prelaunch page showing the product name, tagline, and expected launch week. This page is separate from a published listing and is marked noindex; that is not a confidentiality control.
## Website auto-fill and imported images
When you request website auto-fill, our server fetches the submitted public website and may fetch a same-site pricing page to suggest product details. You review the suggestions before saving. Selecting an imported image requests that image through our server for validation; accepted images can then be uploaded to Supabase Storage when you save. These requests reach the website or image host, which may keep its own request logs. We do not send your account credentials or session cookies with those outbound fetches. Account-linked request counters help enforce auto-fill and image-import rate limits. Auto-fill does not automatically publish or schedule a product.
## Votes, launches, and verification
We store account-linked voting records to enforce one active vote per account per launch and to calculate totals. Weekly voting records and finalized results are kept separately from ongoing lifetime votes. Launch schedules, moderation state, and website-bound badge verification status support the launch rules. A manual verification request fetches the submitted website’s HTML to check the eligible badge and records the result. We do not publish private account details as part of these checks.
## Product analytics
When collection is enabled, first-party analytics measure product-page views and website-button clicks. They use a random browser identifier that expires at the next UTC midnight, daily keyed hashes for duplicate suppression and rate limits, and broad referral categories. Product analytics do not store raw IP addresses, account identifiers, browser fingerprints, or full referral URLs. A network address may be processed transiently to produce a daily rate-limit hash. Makers see private aggregate reports for their own products, not individual visitor identities. Provider request logs are separate.
## Cookies and browser preferences
Supabase session cookies support sign-in and session refresh. Optional product analytics use a daily first-party identifier cookie and a browser opt-out preference cookie lasting one year. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, or opting out disables product analytics collection. The controls below manage this preference for the current browser; allowing analytics does not override browser privacy signals. Blocking session cookies can prevent account features from working.
## Service providers and hosting
Supabase provides authentication, database, and file storage. Vercel hosts the application and may process technical request information, such as network addresses, browser details, timestamps, and errors, to deliver and protect the service. Product images and avatars use Supabase Storage; approved public content and its media are intended to be accessible publicly. These providers process information under their own service arrangements and privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably needed to address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
## Email and other communications
Any account or security email sent under the authentication provider’s configuration uses your account email. The current application does not provide a password-reset flow, a support form, or a newsletter subscription. Contact through X is handled by X under its own privacy policy. Do not send sensitive account information in a public post.
## Retention
Account and product information is retained to operate accounts, listings, launch history, moderation, and security. We do not promise a fixed deletion schedule for these records. Product analytics duplicate-suppression and rate-limit hashes are designed to be retained for at most 48 hours; anonymous daily aggregates, visitor bitmaps, and broad referral categories are retained separately. Provider logs and backups can follow separate retention arrangements. Finalized weekly results are designed to preserve competition history.
## Your choices and deletion requests
You can edit the available public profile fields in Settings, manage eligible product content in My products, and use the browser analytics controls below. For access, correction, deletion, or an account-closure request, contact the founder. Requests may require identity verification. We assess them under applicable law and operational requirements; some information may need to remain for security, legal obligations, backups, or competition integrity. There is no automated account-deletion flow or guaranteed completion period advertised here.
## Security
The application uses server-side authorization and database access policies to restrict private information and product ownership actions. Avoid sharing credentials and notify the founder if you suspect unauthorized access. No website or storage system can promise complete security.
## International processing
Supabase, Vercel, and other services you choose to use may process information in countries other than your own. Processing locations depend on the provider and the service involved. Contact the founder with questions about the providers used for your information or the locations where it may be processed.
## Third-party websites
Product websites, maker links, Google sign-in, and social profiles are operated by third parties. Visiting or interacting with them is subject to their own terms and privacy practices. A listing or successful badge check is not a privacy or security endorsement.
## Children’s privacy
Oribisoft is intended for makers and people discovering software, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact the founder so it can be reviewed and addressed.
## Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service and its data practices change. The effective date appears above. For privacy questions or requests, use the founder contact on our Contact page. Your applicable rights depend on the laws and circumstances that apply to you.

# Terms of Service
Canonical: https://www.oribisoft.com/terms
Retrieved: 2026-11-04T11:04:36.015Z
The rules for using Oribisoft, sharing your work, and taking part in weekly launches.
Effective date: 2026-11-01. The canonical HTML policy is authoritative.
## Acceptance and eligibility
By using Oribisoft, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Use Oribisoft only where you can lawfully do so and have the legal capacity or required permission to accept these terms. If you represent another person or organization, you must be authorized to act for them.
## What Oribisoft provides
Oribisoft is an independent software launch and discovery platform built by Muhammad Rehan. Makers remain responsible for their products, claims, websites, customer relationships, and compliance with applicable rules. A listing, badge, vote, or weekly award is not a security review, investment recommendation, or endorsement of a third-party product.
## Your account
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use only accounts you are entitled to control. You are responsible for activity through your account. Do not impersonate someone else, create deceptive accounts, share access to manipulate voting, or bypass access restrictions. Contact the founder if you suspect unauthorized use.
## Product submissions
Submit a real software product that you own or are authorized to represent. Keep its description, website URL, screenshots, and other details accurate and lawful. Do not upload confidential material or assets you lack permission to use. Drafts do not reserve a launch slot. Edits and other actions depend on the product’s status and available workspace controls. Each product has one launch under the current rules. Website auto-fill provides suggestions only: you remain responsible for reviewing their accuracy and your permission to use suggested content or imported images.
## Ownership and permission to display content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting it, you give Oribisoft a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate product pages, maker profiles, discovery, sharing previews, and launch records. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to grant that permission. Removing content can be subject to retained records, backups, finalized competition history, and legal obligations.
## Website badge verification
Launch eligibility requires successful verification of an eligible Oribisoft badge at the submitted website URL. Keep the required badge valid and its product link intact. Verification is website-bound; changing the URL invalidates its earlier verification. Checks are requested manually, and a technical verification error does not itself prove removal. Award badges require the corresponding finalized result and do not bypass verification requirements.
## Weekly scheduling and capacity
Each edition runs from Monday 00:00 UTC until the next Monday 00:00 UTC, with an exclusive end and at most 12 occupied launch slots. Eligible current-week submissions publish immediately and receive only the remaining competition time, without weighting or extension. Future launches are scheduled for an available Monday. A launch slot is secured only when submission succeeds. Publication remains subject to eligibility, verification, moderation, and service operation. Founder approval is not required in the current self-service flow.
## Voting and weekly rankings
Signed-in users may add or remove their own vote on an eligible published product, with at most one active vote per account per launch. Weekly rankings use valid votes within the original competition window, sorted by count, then earlier publication time, then a stable identifier. Do not buy, sell, automate, exchange, or manipulate votes or create fake accounts. Platform rules and abuse controls govern participation.
## Lifetime voting and winner recognition
Lifetime votes can continue after the weekly competition. Later vote additions or removals do not alter finalized weekly counts, ranks, or awards. The finalized top three receive corresponding winner recognition when awarded by the system. Recognition reflects a competition result; it does not certify a product’s quality, safety, or commercial value.
## Prohibited conduct
Do not submit spam, unauthorized duplicate listings, fake products, misleading claims, stolen content, malicious links, malware, fraudulent products, or illegal content. Do not harass people, expose private information, impersonate others, interfere with service operation, evade moderation, scrape private data, or attempt unauthorized access. The Community Guidelines provide further practical standards.
## Moderation, suspension, and termination
Oribisoft may hide, suspend, remove, or restrict listings or participation to address violations, abuse, safety, or legal obligations. Publication and badge verification do not prevent moderation. You may stop using the service and contact the founder about account closure or content requests. Retained records and public competition history are subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.
## Third-party products and links
External products and websites have their own operators, terms, prices, and privacy policies. Oribisoft does not sell or provide the listed third-party software, control its availability, or assume the maker’s obligations. Assess a product before using it or sharing information with its operator.
## Availability and no promised outcomes
We may change, interrupt, or discontinue features. Service availability, error-free operation, continued placement, and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed. Oribisoft does not guarantee votes, visitors, customers, signups, sales, revenue, backlinks, search indexing or rankings, or AI mentions. Current core participation is free. Premium Launch is planned and is not an active paid service; any future paid offering may have separate terms when introduced.
## Oribisoft intellectual property
Oribisoft’s branding, application design, and original platform content remain the property of their respective rights holders. Use supplied badges only for the product and recognition they represent. Do not imply an endorsement, alter award claims, or use the brand misleadingly. Product makers retain their own intellectual property.
## Disclaimers and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or third-party product performance. To that same extent, Oribisoft and its operator are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from third-party products, user submissions, service interruptions, or reliance on discovery results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
## Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Oribisoft develops. The effective date appears above; review the current terms when you use the service. For questions, suspected violations, or account requests, use the founder contact on our Contact page. These terms do not designate a particular jurisdiction or dispute forum. Mandatory applicable law remains relevant.

## Complete public catalogs
Every eligible product, maker, populated active category, and represented weekly archive is reachable through the following catalogs. Catalog pages contain 20 records and link onward. Small catalogs are also embedded below. Product details and weekly counts are read at request time. Membership can lag by at most five minutes; concurrent catalog edits can move page boundaries, so restart at page 1 for a new traversal. These are live pages, not a transactional export.
