Public data, ready to explore.
Retrieve published products and weekly standings in JSON or Markdown. Public access requires no account or API key.

GET /v1/products?page=1&limit=20— Published products, ordered by slug.GET /v1/products/{slug}— One public product.GET /v1/search?q=developer&page=1&limit=20— Case-insensitive name and tagline search.GET /v1/leaderboard?week=YYYY-MM-DD— A Monday UTC edition; defaults to this week.
Only GET and HEAD are supported. Pagination defaults to 20 records, allows up to 50 per page, and stops at page 100. Search requires 2–100 letters, numbers, spaces or hyphens. Unknown, repeated or invalid parameters return 400. Empty results return an empty list. Missing products or editions return 404.
All JSON responses use { data, meta, error }. Successful responses set error to null. Errors set data to null and provide a public code and message. Meta includes generated_at and, for lists, pagination with page, limit, total and total_pages. The timestamp describes generation, not a product edit date.
Freshness and fair use
JSON responses use Cache-Control: no-store. Public product and weekly reads are cached on the server for at most 15 seconds and share existing publication and moderation invalidation. Markdown membership can lag by at most five minutes. During a data outage, expired content returns 503 rather than remaining available indefinitely.
Traffic is limited per server instance to 120 requests per minute per client bucket and 600 requests per minute overall. Outside Vercel, clients share one anonymous bucket. Limits are best-effort across server instances, not a distributed quota. A 429 or 503 includes Retry-After: 60. Avoid parallel crawling and honor that delay.
Numbered pages can shift during publication or moderation. Restart traversal for a fresh catalog. The snapshot includes up to 10 recent launches and 12 current weekly entries; it is a summary, not a full export. The generated count covers all eligible public Live products, including past launches.
Interpret the data accurately
Current standings are provisional. Historical awards and ranks come from recorded finalization; lifetime votes never determine weekly winners. Removed or hidden entries are excluded, so finalized ranks can have gaps. Votes are not review ratings.
Drafts, scheduled or unlaunched products, rejected and suspended listings, private account fields, private analytics and moderation notes are excluded. Maker descriptions are unverified submissions. Listings and badge verification do not imply endorsement. Discovery, rankings and AI citations are not guaranteed.
